Timing

When To Marry In Uttarakhand

March to June and September to November give the clearest skies and the most comfortable evenings. Monsoon dates are possible with a covered backup, and December weddings need heating, warm welcome drinks and an earlier ceremony slot.

Plan Travel Before Decor

Hill roads decide your schedule. Lock guest arrival windows, transfer vehicles and room allotment first, then build your function timings around them. It prevents the most common destination wedding problem: half the guests missing a function.

Where The Money Actually Goes

Venue and stay usually take the largest share, followed by catering, then decor. Ask for an itemised sheet early and keep a contingency of around ten percent for weather cover, extra rooms and last minute guest additions.

How early should we start planning a destination wedding?

Six to twelve months is ideal, mainly because the best venues in Nainital and Jim Corbett release peak season dates early. We do take on shorter timelines, and have delivered full weddings in eight to ten weeks when dates and venues line up.

What does your fee cover, and how is payment structured?

Our planning fee covers venue negotiation, design, vendor management and on ground execution. Vendor and venue costs are billed transparently at actuals. Payments are typically staged: a booking advance, a milestone payment once vendors are confirmed, and the balance before the event week.

Can you work with vendors we have already booked?

Yes. If you already have a photographer, designer or caterer you trust, we bring them into our timeline and coordinate them alongside our own team.

What happens if it rains on the wedding day?

Every outdoor function we plan has a covered alternative locked in advance, along with the drapes, flooring and lighting needed to move it. The call is taken with you, on a pre agreed cut off time, so nothing is decided in a panic.

Do you handle guest stay and transport as well?

Yes. Room blocking, allotment charts, welcome kits and transfers from Kathgodam railway station or Pantnagar airport are part of our Signature and Luxe packages, and can be added to Essential.
